I almost got disappointed when I checked out the exhibit held at SM City Davao last April 22-26 because I didn't see any of the photos I submitted. I had a total of four entries plus one from my younger sister. It would be embarrassing if not one got in the top 20 especially if only a few others joined. But thankfully, there it was at the very back of the exhibit. I didn't win anything, but seeing my name and my photo is more than I could ask for. My mother, father and sister got all excited and couldn't wait to go see it.
Yesterday, a classmate from elementary sent me a friendster message. She said she saw my photo at SM. I didn't think anyone I know would recognize my name. I'm glad she liked my shot.
The Davao Gulf Images: thru d lens 2008 Digital Photography Contest was sponsored by the Department of Tourism Region XI. All seascapes and underwater photography were taken at the Island Garden City of Samal.

ReplyDeletei've been dreaming to see davao specially the samal island. i have some friends there and they always invite me but i didn't have the opportunity. medyo malayo din kasi. but davao is a dream destination. nandyan pa ang mt apo plus the philippine eagle. sana talaga makapunta na ako dyan. malamang next year.
maganda nga dito. punta ka na. saka yung iba rin diyan na may plano, punta na kayo!! hehehe advertising ba...
